Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar told today that on Saturday 28 March on the demand of the public, the telecast of 'Ramayana' will start again on Doordarshan's National Channel. Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayana' was telecast for the first time in 1987 and BR Chopra's 'Mahabharata' was broadcast on Doordarshan in 1988 for the first time.
