From World Cup Hero to Real Life Hero; ICC praises Joginder Sharma


Joginder Sharma, the medium pacer who played a key role in India winning the first T20 World Cup in 2007, was India's hero at the time. In the last over, Misbah-ul-Haq was bowled by Joginder for India's World Cup win. But the hero of the 2007 World Cup is now the hero of life.

After the 2007 World Cup, Joginder did not get enough chances. He quit cricket and later joined the Haryana Police. He is currently the DSP of Hisar district. Police Joginder is also in the forefront, while the Kovid 19 defensive work is underway in the country.
